How to request deletion of your data
Chat4Biz provides AI customer-service assistants that businesses deploy on their website and on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger. When you message one of these business assistants, we store the conversation on behalf of that business so it can respond to you and keep a record of the enquiry.
You can request deletion of your data in either of these ways:
- Remove the app from your Facebook or Instagram settings. Meta will notify us and we will delete the data we hold about you automatically.
- Email us at support@chat4biz.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”, and include the account or channel (e.g. your Instagram/WhatsApp handle) you contacted.
What we delete
We delete the conversations and messages associated with your identity on the connected channel, along with any contact details captured during those conversations. Deletion is typically completed immediately and always within 30 days.
